How do I upload my completed website using CuteFTP?

CuteFTP is a popular FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Program that we highly recommend to our customers. It has powerful features, yet it providers one of the easiest ways to upload a website or access the files on your hosting account. The following step-by-step guide will show you have to uploading your website using CuteFTP in just a few minutes.

  1. Creating a new connection. First you will need to create a new connection so that, from now on only a simple double click of the mouse will be needed to immediately connect to your account. To do this, click on the 'New' button in the left-hand upper-corner of the window:

  2. Connection Properties. Now you’ll need to enter your account FTP login details provided to you via email when you ordered hosting with us. Enter an appropriate title for your connection using the Label text field. Type your domain name in the Host Address field. Enter your FTP username and password in the respective fields. Make sure the login method is set to Normal. Finally, click the OK button to save your new connection in your CuteFTP Site Manager:

  3. Connect to you account. Your new connection will be now available in the Site Manager panel. Double click on it to connect your CuteFTP client to the shared hosting server:

  4. Managing your files. Upon successful connection, you should see your local folders in the left panel along with your folders on the sharing hosting server in the right panel. You can now start using this interface to upload / download your files to / from the server:
