Mac Mail Settings (MacOS Sierra / High Sierra / Mojave)

You will need the following...

- Email Address
- Email Password

1. Click the Mail menu up the top and select Preferences from the list, as shown below.

 

2. Click the Server Settings tab and check the following settings on the page

  • User Name: Your email address
  • Password: Your email password
  • Incoming Mail Server - Host Name: mail.cheaperdomains.com.au
  • Outgoing Mail Server - Host Name: mail.cheaperdomains.com.au

 

3. Untick the box below the incoming & outgoing mail server fields labelled Automatically manage connection settings and you will see more settings to check.

Incoming Mail Server

  • Port: 143 (Recommended) or 993
  • Use TLS/SSL: tick box
  • Authentication: Password

Outgoing Mail Server

  • Port: 587 (Recommended) or 465 or 25
  • Use TLS/SSL: tick box
  • Authentication: Password
