To connect your domain to your squarespace site you will first need to log in to the client area.

Then access the DNS management page.

Then you will need to add these records:

• www   CNAME   ext-cust.squarespace.com
• @       A           198.49.23.144
• @       A           198.185.159.145
• @       A           198.185.159.144
• @       A           198.49.23.145

After you have added these records you will have to then open another tab and log in to your squarespace account.

1. In the Home Menu, click Settings, then click Domains.
2. Click Use a Domain I Own.
3. Enter the full domain name you’re connecting in the Enter Domain field, then click the arrow.
4. Click Connect Domain.
5. Select Other. You can still connect your domain if you don’t see your provider in this list.
6. Click Connect Domain.
7. In the message that appears, click Continue.

This will give you the last CNAME that is needed to link your site it should be a unique code that is a random string of numbers and letters and will be pointing to verify.squarespace.com.

Example: 9aa5s43zpykpnt2fp2zz      CNAME     verify.squarespace.com

Just add this last unique record to your Cheaper Domains DNS management and click the save changes button at the bottom the panel.
